The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will be unveiled on Friday April 3, 2023 at 8 a.m. (Paris) according to the Weibo account of Mijia, the sub-brand of Xiaomi.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is a long-awaited smart health connected bracelet and for good reason: the previous iteration, the Mi Band 4 which was for less than 40 € offered precise fitness monitoring (with GPS tracking), health and sleep, all with a 0.95 ″ AMOLED screen (120 x 240 pixels) – and a 20 day interstellar autonomy on a single charge.
Mijia's Weibo account has just announced that its "New friends of the wearables also go meet you at the Xiaomi Smart Inn live event on April 3 at (8 a.m. in Paris)" . In other words, there is a very good chance that we will finally find out everything about the Xiaomi Mi Band 5.
Xiaomi Mi Band 5: more features for an always low price
Some rumors nevertheless already paint a portrait of us – a priori it will have all the functionality of the previous generation, with a 1.2 ″ slightly larger OLED display and the NFC functionality which authorizes, among other things, contactless payment. We also learned that she would be much better integrated with Windows 10, among other things to unlock the computer.
As for its price, we still expect records for this kind of device. The smart health connected bracelet would thus be offered for the modest sum of 180 Yuan, which gives approximately 23 euros.. We sense that with us this bracelet will be sold at substantially the same price as the previous generation. The launch will take place initially in China before a global launch at a later date.
