Nest hasn't confirmed anything yet, but the rumor is running. This Palo Alto-based health home automation company was founded in 2010 by former Apple engineers: Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers. The brand currently only offers two products: a smart health connected smart thermostat and a smart health connected smart smoke detector. Nest also acquired Dropcam.
Also, let’s not forget that with the company's Work with Nest developer program, the company has partnered with audio companies such as Ivee. This partnership notably allows customers to control the thermostat by voice. Another clue: job announcements have been published recently, particularly for the hiring of an audio technical chief. According to TechCrunch, the brand could unveil a health home automation system that listens to you and allows you to play music.
Another rumor that has been going around for a few days and I should even say a few weeks: a partnership with Brillo, the new operating system from Google, which aims to provide low-power devices with bare-bones capacity to communicate with others devices smart health connected nearby.
