What is the World War Z game worth? [Avis & Review]

The global pandemic has contaminated all of planet Earth. The player will have to embody a character through a team of uncontaminated humans, spread across the planet (New York, Jerusalem, Tokyo and Moscow). They must accomplish different missions to try to find the cure for this global catastrophe.

Thanks to many guns, the player will face hordes of zombies by moving in the streets, the buildings and the corridors to accomplish missions like unlocking strategic passages held by ferocious zombies.

The game offers the choice ofdirect confrontation or discretion so as not to waste precious time. However, many groups of zombies will block progress by destroying everything in their path. They will not feel fear or pity.

The quality of fighting does it measure up?

At visual level, the reproduction of the cities of New York, Jerusalem, Tokyo or Moscow are made to perfection. The player will face hordes since turrets or in direct confrontation using a multitude of firearms. Each city has its mission:

• New York : a few survivors will try to escape while the army tries to take it back.
• Moscow : the player will find a bunker which belongs to the Kremlin.
• Jerusalem : the mission consists in find an eminent scientist who will have to activate a weapon placed on a satellite base.
• Tokyo : it is necessary prevent people from being contaminated by the virus. The player will have to repel the zombies as they prepare to devour them, near the city's port.

Visually, the graphic quality of the game is successful but it stays below AAA headlines. The protagonists can be a little heavy to move. At the level of clashes with zombies, they are diversified with some equipped with armor. Like a bunch of insects, they systematically ravage thousands of everything that comes in their way. The more impressive is like in the movie, see them form a pyramid to reach tall buildings and coordinate to form, a the only malleable and destructive entity.

Be on the alert, zombies come from everywhere!

A gameplay which is worth the detour?

Level gameplay, this is a more oriented game pure fighting game that of approach strategy or infiltration. For fans of the film,universe is perfectly reproduced. The main interest is to mass kill, hordes of zombies, ready to bite all humans. There's nothing better to let off steam when you come back from a stressful day. However, the mission orders they are enough linear and don’t offer not enough approaches.

The game takes place, using a team of 4 characters in total to carry out the terms, the missions, a bit like in Left 4 Dead with cutting edge entertainment. To fight them, all means are good: machete, chain saw, mortar, assault rifle.. etc. In total, the game has more than one thirty weapons, to cut with a machete, shatter or burn the zombies alive.

For the World War Z game, the player benefits from 3 game modes :

• The Supported campaign from your traditional script.
• The Online mode, where the player will face other players.
• The Massacre mode, where the player will have to kill a maximum of zombies.

Before starting the mission, the player must select a character ((out of 12 in total) but also a classroom :

• Infantryman ((expert shooter): he uses all the weapons at your disposal to fight the horde, using assault rifles and grenades. He gets bonuses when he succeeds in headshots.
• Artificer ((army of C4 and dynamite): The player is an expert in the art of large-scale explosions, both to destroy buildings and in the art of waltzing zombies.
• Male nurse : the player is behind and will embody the cornerstone of the squad to rescue it with first aid kits.
• Support Agent : The character will turn the war machine. He improved the team’s abilities to give them more strength. He will be equipped with camouflage grenades to mask the team.
• Surineur : More elegant in nature, he uses your blade to defeat enemies. Very practical for combat during melee. It also uses a taser and gives satisfactory results.
• Exterminator : He fights with fire using Molotov cocktails and flamethrowers to defeat groups of enemies.

Multiple environments populate the earth with ferocious zombies!

In summary, the concept is simple. The player takes a real pleasure to let off steam for slaughter hordes of zombies who present themselves. The visual animations zombies are also impressive than in the eponymous film. They literally ravage everything that comes their way and know neither fear nor pity.

However, the gameplay rest limit in approach strategies. However, the variety of weapons and the killing methods are numerous. Without being an opus AAA and sold cheaper than traditional games, it is a good option for those wishing rediscover the universe of the film of Marc Forster.
