What does the Find X2, Oppo's new smartphone have in store for us?

Cancellation of Mobile World Congress of Barcelona has wreaked havoc on the builders of smartphones. Some have decided to launch their new models without waiting via Youtube, others have decided to postpone their announcements, probably to have time to prepare them properly. Regarding its flagship model, the Chinese manufacturer Oppo has chosen to postpone its official announcement to March 6 but, inadvertently, it published the technical sheet in addition to having delivered some characteristics via Twitter.

It is on his Vietnamese site that Oppo has put the features of Find X2 online, well in advance of the official launch. The sheet reveals in particular his screen Amoled measuring 6.5 inches which is rumored to deliver a 20: 9 aspect display. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a battery with a capacity of 4,065 mAh. The camera has a triple photo module, with sensors 48, 8 and 12 megapixels including, no doubt, an ultra wide angle and a telephoto lens.

A “flagship” screen

The Oppo Find X2 will be a clearly high-end mobile. Brian Chen, vice president of the brand, published a teaser on Twitter indicating that the new model will display " a screen that a real flagship for 2025 should have ". He thus confirmed that the Find X2 will display a definition "3K" and a refresh rate of 120 hertz.

Oppo abandoned the retractable camera, preferring to integrate the camera with selfies 32 megapixels as punch, as confirmed by a ehealth tweeted on the brand's official account. It will therefore not be the first smartphone with the hidden camera under the screen. The model of processor has not yet been confirmed, but it would be surprising if Oppo did not choose the Snapdragon 865 which equips most high-end mobiles from the beginning for 2025. It remains to be seen if Oppo plans to launch it at the same price as the Find X, ie around 1,000 euros.
