Ingredients for vegetables spring rolls

sheets of pastry spring roll, large

2
sticks celery, small, peeled and finely grated

cloves garlic, crushed

tablespoons vegetable oil

1
tablespoon chopped fresh ginger

medium onions or 250 g, sliced

2
medium carrots, finely grated

2
medium zucchini, finely grated

2
green peppers, finely grated medium

½ cups or 250 g white
cabbage, finely shredded

2
cubes of vegetable stock

¼
c. teaspoon white pepper

½
teaspoon sesame oil

cups oil for frying

 

Preparation for vegetables spring rolls

Heat
vegetable oil in a large saucepan, add the ginger and cook until fragrant and
garlic then add the onion and stir over medium heat for 2 minutes.

 

Add
celery, carrot, zucchini, green pepper and cabbage. Stir for a few minutes or
until vegetables are almost tender then add the diced vegetable broth, white
pepper and sesame oil. Stir to mix well. Remove from heat and place the mixture
on a plate until cool to room temperature.

 

Garnish
rolls one after the other by depositing 1 tsp. tablespoon of filling into the
bottom of the cake, moisten the edges with a brush and fold the top of the cake
over the filling.

 

Fold
the edges together and wrap the cake tightly. Repeat for all cakes.

Before
serving, fry the rolls in hot oil towards minutes or until golden brown.

1/2 c Butter or margarine

1 c Dark brown sugar;
packed

1/2 c Honey

2 c Flour

ts Baking soda

ts Nutmeg; ground

ts Cinnamon; ground

1/2
ts Cloves; ground

1/2
ts Ginger; ground

1/2 c Water; boiling

ts Lemon extract

ts Lemon rind; grated

 

Microwave
German Honey Spice Cake Preparation

 

Spray
a 2 quart rectangular glass dish with non-stick coating; set aside. Put butter
into a 2 quart glass bowl. Microwave on 30% (medium low) 2 minutes or until
butter is soft. Cream in sugar; then eggs. Stir in honey. Sift flour together
with soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Add flour mixture, alternately,
with water. Add lemon extract and rind. Pour batter into prepared dish.
Rotating dish twice during baking, microwave on 70% (medium high) 10 to 12
minutes or until cake tests done. Serve hot.

ammonia over night in pint of milk. Beat eggs seperately and ad 2 T. milk to
yolks. Mix dough stiff and roll thin. Prick well with fork and bake.
