The Kibus device, of Spanish design, will become your dog’s best friend! While some dog owners give their dogs raw food instead of kibble, others have recently switched to dehydrated dog food. These are the last foods that Kibus will cook for your dog. He will automatically rehydrate them with hot water and serve them to him during meal times.
This is how the Kibus works …
Once a week, users fill its food tank with up to 2 kg of dehydrated dog food of their choice; no croquettes. Then they also fill its 4-liter water tank. using control buttons and an electronic display on the top of the device, they then indicate the times of the day they want their dog to be fed; as well as the weight of each serving.
At the times indicated, Kibus will heat part of the water and mix it with part of the food. Then he distributes the mixture into the built-in bowl. The preparation process takes six minutes and the food is served at a temperature of 38 ºC.
To make sure the dog doesn’t miss it, Kibus plays a musical alert when each meal is ready.
Some additional information
The appliance can also be operated manually, preparing food the right way at the push of a button.
Its water tank is also used to automatically fill the integrated water bowl of the Kibus. A built-in sensor detects that it needs to be refilled. The water and food bowls can be removed for washing by hand or in the dishwasher.
In order to finance the production of the Kibus, its creators turned to Kickstarter. Pre-orders start at 199 euros. For this price you will receive a Kibus. The retail price will then be 499 €
