The Amazfit X can already be purchased on Indiegogo at a low price

Amazfit X, the futuristic smart health watch from Chinese Huami, has landed on the Indiegogo site where you can order one at an incredibly low price.

We told you about it in January, the subsidiary of Xiaomi had chosen the funding platform to launch its curved screen smartwatch. The manufacturer had then confirmed all the rumors by presenting a device more than ambitious. Its provisional price is the icing on the cake, making the model a bargain not to be missed.

Amazfit X: what we already knew thanks to its Indiegogo page

The smart health connected watch is distinguished above all by its 2.07 inch curved AMOLED screen and the fact that it does without physical buttons entirely. In fact, the slab is twice as large as that of the brand new Fitbit Charge 4, the closest thing to it.

Better still, its resolution of 206 x 640 pixels is much higher than the 60 x 100 pixels of the Fitbit bracelet. Despite this difference, the Indiegogo page of the Amazfit X promises the same 7 days autonomy as the Charge 4. To do this, its curved battery has a capacity of 200 mAh.

At the level of the sensors, we cannot complain with a Sp02 sensor to measure blood oxygenation in more than one heart rate monitoring. A chip GPS with GLONASS will provide geolocation for outdoor sports. In fact, the machine has 9 different profiles for 9 sports (swimming, running, etc.). The device is also certified 5ATM to survive a 10 min dive at 50 m deep.

Finally, the excellent "wellness" features from Amazfit are also found on its latest product. These are continuous health monitoring (Mio Global technology) and sleep tracking.

An incredibly low price… for now

For Huami, going through Indiegogo to publicize the Amazfit X is more than understandable. The model looks like showcase for the firm's know-how, a prototype of its future watches and bracelets. Nevertheless, its original format and its technical characteristics inevitably make it a niche product. Hence the use of crowdfunding.

When officially released, the smart health connected watch will cost a whopping 329 dollars (around 303 euros). But you still have 30 days to pre-order the Amazfit X on Indiegogo for only 149 dollars (around 137 euros). At the cost of a pair of AirPods, we can only recommend this smartwatch, for now.
