Unboxing of Jabra Move Wireless

First impression when discovering the box: she is sober and of good quality. The cardboard is reinforced and has a good finish. Black in color, it only shows a photo of the product as well as the brand name and its motto: "You’re on". On the side, it summarizes the advantages touted by Jabra : high-quality sound, durable headphones, easy charging, music and volume control directly from the headphones, easy-to-set up Bluetooth connection, supplied cable and a battery capable of holding 8 hours.

The Jabra Move Wireless helmet box is simple and efficient.

After opening the cover we discover the headphones, then the cable which allows you to recharge it, as well as the user assistance booklet. It is short, but amply sufficient in view of the ease of use of the helmet.

Once the box is open, we discover the helmet.

The box contains the user manual and the headphone cables.

Design and ergonomics of the Jabra Move Wireless helmet

The helmet is available in several colors: black, blue, black and gold or red. It is the latter that we were able to Review at the editorial office. Its look is simple and effective. It does not stand out with a daring design, but remains pleasing to the eye.

Headphones are comfortable and the user feels no embarrassment even after prolonged listening. The size is very precisely adjustable. The hoop is again very comfortable. You will have no pain, except perhaps after more than four hours of uninterrupted listening.

Headphones do not fully cover the ears, the Jabra Move Wireless doesn't cut you off from the world even ifit still muffles outside sounds wells. If you want earmuffs, go your way, but if you prefer light helmets, it is the ideal size and offers good insulation compared to the size of the earphones.

Jabra Move Wireless sound

The sound of the headphones and clear and worked. It offers a very good balance : the bass is present and effective, but does not take over as in some competing models. The percussions sound good.

Sometimes forgotten by this type of quality material, the mediums are well developed. This gives a pleasant and detailed sound. The sound is clean and diffuses well, it represents distances well, which is not always the case with this type of headphones.

The Jabra Move Wireless helmet offers a sober and efficient design.

On the other hand, with the wired connection, it is the cold shower. There is no comparison with Bluetooth. When you go from one to the other, you feel a huge loss of quality in thickness and sound quality. It is less detailed and offers bass and treble ri-di-cules.

Using the Jabra Move Wireless headset

The helmet is very easy to use, just press the little button on the right ear until a blue light flashes. The Bluetooth connection is then in operation, all you have to do is connect to it with your phone and listen to your music as you normally would.

The right earpiece of the Jabra Move Wireless headset carries the Bluetooth activation button.

There is even a pre-recorded voice that guides you through the installation of the headphones if the little manual is not enough. The advantage, and it is significant, is that you can get away from your phone. If you live in an apartment with a surface area of around 50m2, chances are you can move around indoors without your cellphone and the connection will last.

At the time of writing, it was always possible to receive the connection satisfactorily after going down two floors (in an open environment, it would certainly not work if each floor was closed).

The absence of an application means thatit is not possible to connect to it via WiFi. You will therefore not be able to use the wireless headset with your computer if it does not have a Bluetooth function. But you can always fall back on the classic wire supplied with the helmet. The best will be to connect Bluetooth to your mobile phone.

The button on the left earphone of the headphones allows you to easily increase or decrease the volume. You can also skip songs without touching your laptop with a long press of the button. It is also possible to pick up or hang up if you receive a call while you listen to your music. The connection is automatic and your contacts can hear you well if your phone is fairly new. Our colleague who has a low-end smartphone (less than 100 euros) encountered latencies preventing him from communicating correctly.

The Jabra Move Wireless compared to the competition

There is strong competition in the market for smart health connected headsets. It is therefore difficult for a model to make its place among the greatest. The Jabra Move Wireless can stand out from Grind Wireless by Skullcandy or Blackbeat Sense by Plantronics by its sober and efficient design and its interesting color duos.

Sound quality is also one of his best arguments. It does not fall into the ease of pushing the low frequencies to the maximum to give an impression of power which ultimately spoils the sound. It offers a clear and balanced sound, although a little cold for the fussy.

Rear view of the Jabra Move Wireless helmet

Its base price is a little too high to set it apart from other models, but you can easily find it on the internet for around 70 €, making it a very good choice of wireless smart health connected headphones.
