The iOS companion app for the smartwatch Pebble Time has been stuck in Apple's testing process for a few weeks now. As long as the program is not released, Pebble-Time owners cannot use their gadgets with iPhones. According to Golem's colleagues, Pebble is now asking its users to put pressure on Apple. It is questionable whether this will lead to a quick release.
The Pebble app for the previous models, which is already available, apparently cannot simply be expanded to include support for the new Pebble Time – after an update, it too has been stuck in the testing process for more than a month. Apple declined an accelerated review of the iOS app for pebble time, the report said.
While iPhone owners with Pebble smartwatches are just being left out in the rain, Apple is doing something for fans of its own smartwatch: the watch is also to be available in the Group's stores from June 26th.
