What you will learn
Unboxing of Grind Wireless
The packaging of the wireless headphones remains fairly basic: in cardboard, it gives several useful information to the user, in particular on the commands available on the headphones themselves. As for the presentation of the product inside, nothing exceptional. The helmet is presented encased in a cardboard support and inside, in a small box with the logo, are the accessories.
A jack-to-jack cable firstly, very practical for switching back to wired mode, especially when the device’s battery is flat and a power cable, USB-miniUSB to charge the headphones. The packaging also includes a warranty and a mini user manual to quickly explain the commands that the user can perform directly on the headphones of Skullcandy's Grind Wireless.
Finally, the box in which the smart health connected headphones are presented, remains without great surprise. In addition, we regret that a pouch intended for the transport of the Grind Wireless headphones.
Design and ergonomics
The design of the headset itself is quite sleek but it remains effective and the Grind Wireless is very comfortable with its memory cushions. So even after prolonged listening, the user does not feel embarrassed.
The right earpiece has music control and call management buttons, right from the headset itself. The sign code is very intuitive: a cross to increase the volume, a minus sign to lower it and a round button in the middle to connect, pause the music, hang up and hang up. The helmet also has a voice announcement system for actions.
At the level of helmet configuration, it is closed, which allows you to “cut off” from the outside world while listening. For its part, the metal hoop makes it a rather solid helmet. In terms of listening comfort, the Skullcandy Grind Wireless is equipped with Supreme surround stereo sound.
As a whole, it looks very ergonomic and practical. Its construction is of good quality and moreover, it is available in 6 different colors and patterns.
Associated application
There is no application associated with the Grind Wireless smart health connected headset, it is currently only available to the brand's staff and therefore remains to be developed … Because it is a shame not to be able to manage certain technical characteristics from your smartphone.
For the moment, the application allows the user to access the brand's catalog as well as the technical sheets for each available product.
The different uses of the Grind Wireless smart health connected headset
As we said in the title, the smart health connected headset Grind Wireless is a versatile wireless headset, which lets you listen to music while managing calls. When it comes to connecting Grind Wireless with your devices, it's a breeze.
Just activate its Bluetooth on his device to pair and turn on the headset using the round button. A voice alert will notify the user that the two devices are communicating. Once you’re done using the headset, it’s easy to turn it off, it does it automatically. Magic isn't it?
Listen to music
The actions that it is possible directly on the helmet, are somewhat limited … Too bad. Indeed, despite the fact that the user can manage the volume of their music as well as pause or play, that is ultimately all they can do. It would have been nice to have one or two more buttons, so you could put the song after, for example.
Good even if the obvious advantage, remains that the user does not overwhelm under the buttons and options … But that limits the actions.
Manage your calls
You can manage your phone calls directly on the headset. Thanks to integrated microphone, you no longer have to juggle between wires to be able to pick up in the middle of a song. Just press the round multi-function button to hang up and press a second time, the same button to hang up this time.
