Review of Xiaomi Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp PRO: A lamp that adapts to you

Design desk lamp that adapts to your needs. Such is the Xiaomi Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp PRO.

We tested the lamp for about two weeks during work. In addition to the lamp itself, the package contains a simple adapter with a power cord. The body of the lamp is made of light aluminum alloy. The round base of the lamp guarantees stability to the three-joint arm, which can be adjusted up to a height of approximately 70 cm. Thanks to this, the lamp can provide 1.2 square meters of illuminated area. Although it may seem that you do not extend the joints on the shoulder to a wider angle, the maximum height is limited.

The manufacturer states that this is a stereo light that has a more even flow and does not flicker. Thanks to that your eyes will not get tired. With the rotary knob on the stand, you can adjust the light intensity, brightness and by pressing and turning it again the temperature. This can be set in the range of 2,500 hp – 4,800 hp.

The key to advanced settings is the application

The lamp can be paired with Mi health home application, in which you can set special lighting modes (custom mode, book reading mode, computer work, or choose your own favorite mode). The specialty is the so-called focus mode, which reminds you every 45 minutes that you have to take a 10-minute break from work and after 10 minutes to focus on work again. It is also possible to control the lamp remotely from anywhere where you have an internet connection.

Lamp cooperates with health home assistants Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Homekit.
