The round pebble smartwatch is in the starting blocks. It should be introduced this evening. Amazon has already accidentally released details.
The Pebble was one of the first real smartwatches ever – and at the same time one of the first really successful Kickstarter projects. This was followed by a model with a color display, the Pebble Time (here in hands-on). Now there is a round version in the starting blocks: The Pebble time round.
A countdown runs down on the manufacturer's homepage. It takes another hour before the curtain is lifted. The rumor mill has been bubbling for a long time, it should be a round version.
In the meantime, Amazon just put the product page for the Pebble Time Round online – with pictures and data. The delivery should take place on November 10th, the battery lasts for 2 days, it should be extremely thin and fit for the whole day after only 15 minutes on the charger. It is protected against splash water and comes with a leather strap. And the price: 250 euros. Not a bargain.
In the meantime, Amazon has removed the offer – and thus all the details – from the website again.
