Mycroft is an Open Source Artificial Intelligence that allows you to use voice to control smart health connected objects. Running on Raspberry Pi, this I.A. notably allows you to control your smart health home.
Mycroft is not the only Artificial Intelligence device on the market; however, it’s the first open source. It is based on Raspberry Pi 2 and Arduino, two of the most popular open development platforms in the world.
Mycroft uses natural language processing to respond to your voice. It works, for example, with online services like YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Spotify. You don't have to take out your smartphone to use it. To listen to music, just say "Mycroft, read‘ Uptown Funk "from YouTube on my Chromecast! "; a few seconds later the music starts. Of course, equipped with a loudspeaker, you can also listen to your music directly on Mycroft.
But music is not everything! You can therefore control smart health connected and intelligent objects that are at health home. Connect Mycroft to your SmartThings hub, your WEMO products or your Philips Hue bulbs and control your devices with the sound of your voice.
