[MedPi 2015] Thomson's medical device

The big brand Thomson is launching a new concept, it presented it exclusively to us at the MedPi show in Monaco.

Thomson Healthcare presents a newcomer to us: ThomCheckMe Pro. This product is a health monitoring which the brand told us about at MedPi 2015. This device offers different functions: electrocardiogram, pulse oximeter, pedometer, contactless thermometer, actimeter and checking the systolic blood pressure. Many innovations in terms of health are present at the MedPi show.

This device is used to take constants and to check sleep apnea with its oximetry function. This feature monitors sleep cycles, even the longest. Thomson branded device also checks potentials cardiovascular risks with its electrocardiogram function. For it, no need to arm yourself with wire or electrode because the device takes all the measurements itself. Moreover, the device is small and fits perfectly in the hand which allows it to be mobile and be used by everyone.

This mobile monitoring works with a rechargeable battery. It is smart health connected via Bluetooth to one tablet or smartphone application, Android and iOS. All data is transmitted to the application for simplified exchanges with health professionals.

The device is French made and is intended for healthcare professionals as well as individuals. He will be sold in pharmacies and specialized health establishments. The monitoring even comes with additional electrocardiogram sensors. The price of this medical device will be 800 euros.
