Is it worth buying Jabra Elite 75t ?What’s best Jabra Elite 75t price? Here is our full Jabra Elite 75t review after several weeks of testing.
In 2018, Jabra offered, with its Elite 65t, one of the best alternatives available on the headset market true wireless (100% wireless). However, they were not without flaws and there were certain errors linked to the youth of this category of products. At the IFA 2024, the Jabra Elite 75t was presented, an improved, smaller and more autonomous version. But are they up to what we can now expect from such devices? Notice!

Smaller, more comfortable
One of the main arguments of the Jabra Elite 75t over their predecessor is their size. With 21.9 x 19.4 x 16.2 mm, they are much smaller than the 65t (27 x 30 x 22.5 mm). For a device that serves today as a means of listening to music as a fashion accessory, it is a good thing to no longer have the impression of having a huge pustule coming out of it. hear.
The design of these headphones is very well thought out. They perfectly fit into the roof without having a rod sticking out, neither downwards, AirPods version, nor forwardly, headset version, as is the case for example with the Sony WF-1000xm3. They therefore want to be much more discreet than these two competitors.
They are rather discreet
In terms of weight, the difference is also felt. With 5.5 grams on the balance per earphone, the Jabra Elite 75t are almost as light as the AirPods Pro and therefore weigh 3 grams less than the latest from Sony.
Comfort is also a big winner from this size reduction. While the Jabra Elite 65t could be uncomfortable on prolonged listening, the Elite 75t are much more easily forgotten. However, they hold well in the ear and stay firmly attached even during exercise.
It’s not always easy to spot the left and the right
Note that these are in-ear headphones and that the Danish company provides, as is customary, 3 different tips to adapt to different morphologies. However, it should be noted that the “R” and “L” polarizers are hardly visible.
The absence of a rod does not however make their use difficult as it can be the case with certain earphones difficult to insert or remove. Once the helping hand is taken, they position themselves in the ear and very easily withdraw from it. Only downside: it is quite common to press the button without doing anything on purpose during manipulation.
In fact, unlike Sony, which made the choice of any touchscreen, Jabra opted for physical buttons which occupy a large part of the external surface of the headphones. It’s more responsive overall, but less comprehensive.
The button, good and bad idea at the same time
As is already the case with many products, Jabra has integrated a proximity sensor inside its headphones, allowing you to automatically pause your music just by removing a headset. It’s very practical every day.
Last, but not least, the Jabra Elite 75t are IP55 certified, which promises resistance to sweat and slight splashes. Perfect for your jogging in the rain!
No active noise reduction
Unlike the competition, Jabra skips active noise reduction here and is content to bet on its design designed for passive noise reduction. The tips have the particularity of properly plugging the ear canals (provided you have chosen the right one, remember that 3 sizes are available).
Unfortunately, even though active noise reduction on headphones is not as effective as on headphones, it still brings welcome calm. Everyday, with music in my ears, the Jabra Elite 75t isolates me well from the outside world. The discussions ofopen-space, my fingers on the mechanical keyboard, the many sirens that we hear on the street … all these noises are not completely annihilated, but sufficiently reduced that I no longer pay attention to them. If I cut the music, however, they immediately become clearly audible. Attenuated, but audible and understandable.
If you were hoping to be able to isolate yourself in the metro, this is a failure. You will always hear people yelling at them. It’s a shame for headphones that have 4 external microphones to precisely reduce the outgoing sound during calls.
Yes, I can still hear you with hear through
These 4 microphones are also used for the function hear through, allowing you to hear outside sounds clearly while keeping headphones in your ears. The quality of the audio transcription of our interlocutor is very good during a discussion and the ambient noises are also faithfully reported. On the other hand, a small sizzle in the background makes use uncomfortable, especially as our own voice remains muffled and the intras come in fairly deep, which can create a slight feeling of discomfort by dint of hearing ourselves swallow.
Call quality
Despite the 4 microphones provided to attenuate the external sound during calls, the result was not very convincing. Not only did my correspondents not hear me clearly, but they could tell me clearly when a motorcycle passed by. Suffice to say that it is not the most ideal for conducting a conversation.
It’s not the most ideal
The sound reproduction is however loud and clear enough to perfectly hear the voices of our callers, even in a busy street. Loyalty is not exemplary, but this is nothing to be embarrassing about at all.
Latency and bass too muted
No LDAC or aptX, Jabra makes it simple on codecs and is content here with SBC and AAC. It’s not very surprising knowing that even your helmet, the Jabra Elite 85h, has only these same codecs, nor is it very serious in this category of products.
The previous generation suffered from some technical problems, such as latency between the right and left earpiece (due to a master / slave pairing, the sound necessarily passing through one to reach the second), as well as micro- cuts under certain conditions. Time has passed, technology has improved and these youthful flaws are now fixed.
The Jabra Elite 75t no longer have a gap between the two headphones and general stability is no longer a problem. Instead, the Jabre Elite 75t suffers from another major flaw: the latency, not between the two headphones, but between the source and the headphones. The difference on a game is obvious and it is even felt slightly on videos, while applications like YouTube and Netflix naturally compensate for the latency caused by Bluetooth transmission. The discrepancy is therefore very very surprising.
When it comes to sound quality, a little twist in the app to adjust the equalizer is more than necessary. Naturally, if the mids are suitably chiseled and the treble is just a bit muffled, the bass, on the other hand, is excessively muted. Not powerful, deaf. Music with marked bass quickly becomes deafening, even unpleasant with the default setting.
My advice: go to the application and play with the equalizer from the preset “More treble”. In my case, I left the upper part of the spectrum in this setting and reduced the first two stops in order to obtain a more homogeneous sound corresponding to my tastes. Not everyone will necessarily have this reflex, however, and it is very astonishing to see Jabra venturing on a sound signature so far from your habits.
Inspired by Mozart? Guess!
Once the equalizer is adjusted, the audio rendering is good and we find the good vibrations specific to Jabra.
Housing and application
Like most headphones true wireless, the Jabra Elite 75t can be paired without exiting the box without much difficulty. However, we would have appreciated the presence of NFC to further simplify this procedure for neophytes and those who regularly change their device. Fortunately, the Jabra Elite 75t are multi-point and can connect to two devices simultaneously. Convenient for not having to re-pair them regularly on your smartphone and PC.
However, the interface is simple and efficient, from the use of the buttons on the headphones to the case itself. Very small, it fits easily into a pocket, even if it is already occupied by a bunch of keys for example. It is barely thicker than that of AirPods Pro.
The application is easy to access, allows you to control all of the brand’s devices and allows you to activate or not the mode. hear through, modify the equalizer (you will need it), choose a specific listening profile, or play white noise or background sounds to help focus. If you work better near the ocean, at the bottom of a cave or on a stormy night, you will find what you are looking for.
The application also allows you to check the battery level of the headphones and the case, to update the firmware or choose the voice assistant which will launch by pressing twice on the right earpiece: Amazon Alexa or the default on your smartphone (Siri, Google Assistant …).
Other options are also present, such as adjusting the level of our own voice during calls or the possibility of giving priority to Bluetooth headphones during calls to avoid possible disconnections and enjoy the best possible quality. All that’s missing is the ability to adjust key actions.
In other words, Jabra’s application is very comprehensive. It could be slightly better arranged to avoid having to navigate through sub-submenus, but it is still very clear to use, so we’ll get to that.
Autonomy
Jabra promises up to 7:30 hours of listening time on a single charge with the Elite 75t and 28 hours with the charging case. This is roughly equivalent to what the Sony WF-1000xM3 offers when the latter – like their case – are larger.
In practice, the average announced by Jabra is correct. Count about 7h to 7.15h of autonomy at high volume, and until 7h30 on softer listening, and about 2 and a half charges with the case, which passes for the occasion to USB-C. In addition, 15 minutes in the box will give you around 1 hour of listening time.
So we are in the high average of headphones true wireless. Some do better, but generally at the expense of design and successfully achieving this autonomy with a 20% reduction in size is already very good. Too bad there is no wireless charging.
Price and availability
The Jabra Elite 75t are already available at a price of 179.99 dollars from Jabra official site & most e-tailers like Amazon and specialist dealers. It’s 50 to 75 dollars less than equivalent to active noise reduction all the same.
Among the main alternatives, you can look at the side of the Samsung Galaxy Buds, cheaper, with lower latency, but poorer sound quality, or the Sony WF-1000xm3, better overall, but also more expensive. If you have an iPhone, AirPods Pro should also be an option.
