The new Google Glass might look like a monocle. This Google Monocle has been deposited with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and would be a possible new version for Google smart glasses.
This Google Monocle does not land on your nose but seems to wrap around your head. The patent obtained is described as follows: "The band is adjustable so that it can be configured by the user. Three adjustments can be made: a first at the temple, a second at the ear and a third location at the back of the user's head. Once configured, the Google Monocle should keep its shape.
But the question that inevitably arises is whether this new version will be sufficient to revive interest in this device. As a reminder, Google stopped selling its previous album in January. The company then explained that it needed a "pause", a "reset" to re-develop its device. In March, I also explained to you that Google was looking for new outlets for its Google Glasses; and especially with companies.
Since Google is very silent on the subject. So it's unclear whether Google is still working on software and hardware improvements, so with this new patent it would seem that Google hasn't given up yet.
