Contraindications
This formula can injure the Spleen and

It must not be taken if there is already drying organic liquids.
Precautions
Mu Tong, an ingredient in the formula is the
stem of Aristolochia manshuriensis . The U.S. FDA has issued a warning on
products that contain acid aristolochique.
One can find products using one of the
following plants in lieu of Aristolochia : Clematis armandii , Clematis montana, Akebia
trifoliata , Akebia quinata .
