Good news in the world of new technologies, and especially that of the hearing impaired. Indeed, engineers have just designed a new type of hearing aid, a simple necklace! The hearing impaired user can now follow a conversation, or just record it and listen to it later.

A necklace therefore, which captures all the sounds in a radius of 2 meters, which then captures, clarifies and amplifies them to your ears. The secret ? A small microphone which transforms the ambient hubbub into understandable sentences. The main difference from conventional hearing aids is its “lifespan”. A classic is equipped with a battery to change regularly (and this is not given), while Wear recharges with a battery in just 1 hour, for a duration of use of 24 hours! A directional microphone also allows you to record conversations so you can listen to them later.
Launched on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, the product was a real success, and could be on the shelves at the end of the year, for an amount of $ 165 or € 120.
