The bracelet is delivered in a classic box. For the price, you can't really expect more. It’s not top quality, but it’s not cheap either. The black and red color scheme of the packaging works well.

The box is intelligently constructed : First, you can see the product without opening it. We can thus see its design as it is and not as it is presented on advertisements.

Then, you can read the specifics of the product on the packaging cardboard and the circumstances under which it can be used. This is always very useful to be sure not to buy a device that does not meet your objectives.

Once the plastic is removed, you can put your hands on the MOOV. First good surprise, a spare strap is directly delivered in the basic box. It’s actually a slightly larger model, more suitable to be attached to the ankle when running or biking.

MOOV Now design and ergonomics

You could say that all tastes are in nature, but MOOV still looks like a fishing net. However, he remains discreet and knows how to be forgotten once on your wrist or on your ankle, so no problem if you don’t like the look.

The MOOV is made up of two very distinct parts : the device itself is a little button which fits into the other half of the product, a black silicone strap pierced with a multitude of small holes over its entire surface.

let's remember that two bracelets of different sizes are available, one for the wrist (25.5 cm) and the other for the ankle (32 cm). They offer exactly the same design and the same color.

As for the button itself, we had access to the white model, but it is also available in red, black and cyan blue. These models seem to offer a much more pleasant color harmony than with white.

It is completely smooth: no screen, no button. Everything is managed from the application of the product with which it connects via Bluetooth. You will only have to press it when fitting, and that's it.

Application of MOOV Now

The product application is where all the magic happens. Clear, precise, intuitive and engaging. We couldn't ask for more, except maybe a French translation. Indeed, the application is entirely in English. If you’re not comfortable with Shakespeare’s language, using it will quickly become complicated.

Indeed, although you can easily find yourself on the menu thanks in particular to the photos which illustrate each sport or activity, the main functionality of the application is its voice coach which gives you advice and motivates you in real time during your session. You guessed it, she doesn't speak French.

This voice is both the strong point of MOOV and its weak pointbecause it’s clearly not for everyone. Training with MOOV is almost like going into a sport with a friend much better than you. The coach does not have his tongue in his pocket, and uses a tone that could be described as authoritarian (as much as a voice assistant can be).

If you practice a sport for the sole purpose of staying in shape without trying to improve your performance, she can quickly hit you on the system repeating yourself to increase your stride while jogging.

On the other hand, his advice is crucial if you want to become better in the sport of your choice. Because MOOV calculates everything: from the most classic measurements such as calories burned, distance traveled and speed, to the most advanced like the number of steps per minute (which influences your fatigue), the impact of your feet on the ground (useful for preserving your joints), or the inclination of the slopes that you have climbed. In addition, it will be motivating if you reach the goals it gives you.

We can regret the absence of any way of informing the application about its state of form when you register. This would have allowed the coach to better adapt his orders … advice for beginners, and to help athletes better.

Using MOOV Now

Using MOOV couldn't be simpler. The first time you turn it on, just press it for two or three seconds to verify that the battery is still functional (which is the case when purchasing the product). Then download the app and sign up above by entering your personal data.
