The national unions of liberal doctors have decided to unite around e-health by launching the first inter-union movement "100,000 Doctors.org". Discovery.

During conventional telemedicine negotiations for 2025, representatives of liberal doctors agreed that the digital transformation was already disrupting their practices, but also the organization of the health system and patient-doctor relationships.

In order to steer e-health towards a desirable future that respects all interests, the Presidents of the national unions of liberal doctors have decided to unite in order to make doctors the main actors in their digital transformation. They created " 100,000 Doctors.org », 1st intersyndical movement around e-health, bringing together the CSMF, the FMF, the SML, the Bloc, MG France, Young Doctors and the SNJMG.

The objective of "100,000 Doctors.org" is to unite liberal doctors to allow them to be at the forefront of the changes taking place in e-health.

Represent a lever of actions with software publishers

With a global market valued at 235 billion euros for 2025 by Frost & Sullivan, e-health players are multiplying and private funding is flowing. The Presidents of the unions that make up “100,000 Doctors.org” noted the strong reactions of the profession following recent events: the hijacking of patients with the “DoctolibGate” on Twitter, the auctioning of medical appointments with DoctoChrono , physician ratings with MediEval4i, telemedicine platforms with Livi.

“100,000 Doctors.org” advocates another vision of digital transformation: e-health actors must act in collaboration with doctors, with caution and respect.

Union presidents call on liberal doctors to mobilize by registering on website www.100000medecins.org. They are invited to express their expectations and concerns about e-health, as well as give their opinion on the digital tools they use on a daily basis. A strong mobilization of the profession is expected to represent a lever for action with software publishers. The desired objective is to be involved in the design and development of new digital tools.

The President of “100,000 Doctors.org”, Dr. David Azérad, expresses on this subject: “ The digital transformation into e-health is a great opportunity to improve access and quality of care. This sector is so promising that it has become a digital wild west, dominated by investment funds. To avoid a dehumanization of care, it is urgent to take ownership of today's initiatives to better master our future."

A digital tools assessment agency

“100,000 Doctors.org” wants to launch for 2025 the first rating agency for doctors' digital tools. It will inform the profession about the digital tools of today and tomorrow. "100,000 Doctors.org" will offer an overall rating reflecting expert opinions. Each doctor will also be able to rate the different facets of his tools and share his experience with his colleagues.

The doctors' digital tools rating agency meets a threefold objective:

  • Help the profession make the right choice of digital tools.
  • Promote solutions considered well-designed, respectful of good practices and sustainable.
  • Orient software vendors to the goals that doctors want to achieve.

"100,000 Doctors.org" is the privileged intermediary between doctors and e-health actors, to help the emergence and deployment of solutions that will allow the profession to meet the health needs of the population, of which they are the first point of contact in this area.
