Equisense Motion S will make you a better rider

The Equisense Motion S ships GPS and heart rate sensor to help riders improve and take care of their horses.

Based in Lille, Equisense specializes in equestrian training. The startup had released in 2015 a first similar product called Balios. In 2016 followed the body connected Equisense Care. More recently, the first generation of the Motion is now used by more than 7000 riders in the world. This S version has new sensors.

Equisense Motion S: a smart health connected object for riding

Like its predecessor, the Equisense Motion S attaches to the strap and sends the collected data to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The rider or veterinarian then only has to read the information in themobile app dedicated to the device.

Among others, the app is free and downloadable on iOS and Android. In addition, it offers personalized advice according to the profile of each horse. Moreover, thanks to the integration of a GPS, it allows from now on to visualize the traversed journeys.

The Motion S better assesses the health of the horse

For a rider, knowing the physical state of his mount is essential. This is about the welfare of the animal as well as performance. To do this, the Equisense Motion S analyzes not only the horse's movements, but also his heart rate.

Compared to the first motion of the name, this new iteration uses a smart textile directly in contact with the animal. Thus, the device gives information on its physical form, its energy expenditure or the recovery time required after a training.
