Design and ergonomics of the E-TWOW Booster

The scooter has a fairly classic look. It is black from head to toe, only the brand logo, inscribed in gray on the stem of the scooter, breaks the dark color scheme of the model. In terms of its size, its dimensions are 102 x 116 x 14.5 cm.

It is not the most aesthetic model on the market, because it lacks diversity in colors, but it remains very correct. Compared to many other devices, she is rather slim with her 10.9kg. You can feel it both when you wear it and when you drive it.

In terms of ergonomics, it's still an electric scooter: you won't fit it in your backpack. However, you can easily fold it up to take public transport, or if you are indoors. In this way, it will take up a minimum of space, but it will remain a burden.

Once at the wheel (or rather the handlebars) of your racing car, everything is very clear. The acceleration control is on the right stick, the brake on the left stick. The screen in the center of the handlebars displays all the information you might need, such as your speed, remaining battery or current mileage.

Once your ride is over, however, folding the E-TWOW Booster turns out to be quite complicated. Folding down the handlebar sleeves and fitting it into the stem is very easy by pressing the buttons provided for this purpose. By cons, folding the stem on the board is very tedious as security is resistant. At least it won't fold without you wanting to, that's for sure.

Using the E-TWOW Booster

The E-TWOW Booster is one of the best-selling models in the electric scooter sector. It is therefore with great impatience that we expected to Review it. Result: we were not disappointed. Compared to the previous Review on the Speedtrott ST12, the driving is much smoother.

The kickstart can be disabled, which allows you to start immediately without having to kick the scooter. This turns out to be quite practical, since the startup is much more fluid. Don't worry if you press the accelerator unintentionally, the engine is not powerful enough for the E-TWOW Booster to take off to other skies.

Driving is extremely smooth. The lightness and finesse of the scooter makes it very easy to ride. You feel very comfortable, even with very little experience with this type of product. After a few tens of minutes, your servant was already surprised to keep the accelerator pressed to spin between the passers-by.

As with most models, a second brake is available at the rear. You can operate it by lightly pressing one foot on the rear wheel shell. Again, and it’s always good to specify, prefer the rear brake, because it will prevent you from taking off if you brake too hard from the front.

Compared to the Speedtrott ST12, the E-TWOW Booster reaches “only” 30 km / h. It pays for its lightness with a slightly less powerful engine. However, 5km / h does not make a big difference, especially when driving on a sidewalk where it will be difficult to reach such a speed, unless it is deserted. Otherwise, if you use the scooter at its maximum speed, you will consume the battery extremely quickly.

Speaking of the battery, this is a LiPo 33 volts and 6.5 amps. It will allow you to drive 20km at medium speed for a total recharge time of 4 hours. Its power can carry a load of up to 100 kilos.

On the side of the wheels, both are made of hard rubber and therefore puncture-proof. This gives it a little less rebound, but makes it safer in all circumstances. In addition, you will not have to manage the pressure of your wheels, which is always one less concern.

The E-TWOW Booster facing the competition

The E-TWOW Booster is one of the best on the market. Although less powerful than the Speedtrott ST12, it largely compensates by being much more maneuverable. It has the best weight / power ratio electric scooters.

Although costing a little more than the Speedtrott, you can be sure that with the E-TWOW you will have the best for a classic user who wants to get around urban areas.

If, for you, reaching 30km / h is important, then it will surely not have enough power to satisfy you. However, models with these capabilities are much heavier and more bulky, especially since the final gain in speed is really small.
