What you will learn
What is AndCollar?
Ben Perkins grew raised in Hong Kong, where he was surrounded by dampness. For school functions, symphony performances, and church activities, he donned a white dress shirt on a regular basis. He wore sports attire when he wasn’t wearing a formal shirt. While wearing a white shirt on a particularly muggy and terrible day, he thought to himself, “Why can’t I build a formal shirt out of athletic material?” and thus &Collar was born. Unless it was Wicka-Sweat in 2008, when I was 13 years old.
Ben felt it was time to make it happen after returning to the United States after spending two sweltering years in the Philippines. Wicka-Sweat, on the other hand, required a rebranding. He turned to his sister and her advertising buddies, Lizzi Perkins, Timmy Bates, David Shum, and Jordan Larsen, for help with branding.
In August of 2017, the company &Collar was officially created after breaking bread. From their initial meeting in a living room to running the firm out of various garages, their goal has always been to create affordable clothing that keeps you comfortable without breaking the bank.
How AndCollar Shirts Different?
AndCollar Shirts Are Better For 4 Simple Reasons…
Free of wrinkles!
Gone are the days of having a newly ironed shirt and leaving with a wrinkled mess in your car or office. AndCollar shirts are wrinkle-free and iron-free, which means you won’t have to deal with embarrassing wrinkles or time-consuming ironing.
Non-Iron Shirts
I understand that most men consider ironing shirts to be a tremendous pain in the neck, so when someone offers you a non-iron shirt, you are immediately attracted. The issue is that most dress shirts are made of cotton, which wrinkles easily. To keep cotton from wrinkling after washing, you must focus on the fiber itself and treat it with a variety of chemicals, including formaldehyde. When you do that, even high-end cotton no longer remains soft and exquisite. It becomes less absorbent and less expensive. It has a plasticky texture and touch to it.
The problem is that after a dozen or two washes, the non-ironing characteristics of the shirt are literally washed away, and you still have to iron it to have a clean, crisp dress shirt. &Collar is the only manufacturer I’ve found that makes a shirt that is wrinkle resistant for a long time, which doesn’t mean it’s non-iron, but it does mean you have to iron it less. &Collar is the only quality type within its pricing range when compared to others.
Machine washable!
Put it in the machine with a cold wash cycle and wait for the magic to happen. A shirt that is clean, flat, and ready to wear when it is finished.
Resistant to Stains!
AndCollar clothing is technologically advanced, with a proprietary blend of materials and a little “magic” that makes &Collar clothes breathable and stain-resistant. Have your morning coffee while riding your bike through a storm, and you’ll emerge dry and wrinkle-free.
4 Way Flexibility!
AndCollar clothing moves and stretches with you thanks to a special blend of fibers. Do cartwheels, backflips, or simply bend down to tie your shoes and marvel at how firmly your shirt is tucked into your slacks.
Unstainable, Sustainable Shirts
Sustainable Shirts &Collar promises that their products are good not only for customers, but also for the environment. All of the shirts are made with a patented fabric combination and repurposed plastics.
&Collar’s technology collects plastic bottles and delivers them to a recycling facility for processing. Bottles are turned into plastic pellets, which are then spun into thread. The thread is delivered to a garment maker, where it is woven into a shirt and collar.
According to the firm, each shirt is created from the equivalent of 15 plastic bottles.
Shirts and collars are also machine washable, moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant, and stain-resistant.

Customer Complaints/Reviews
We couldn’t locate many &Collar reviews, but the ones we did discover were all positive. We believe that andCollar’s lack of reviews is due to the fact that it is a new firm.
However, several happy clients have left positive comments on &Collar’s Facebook page.
