The Galaxy Watch 3 will be presented on August 5 at Samsung’s Unpacked event. While the watch doesn’t even have an official existence yet, it already has the right to video unboxing.
The Galaxy Watch 3 does not exist. At least not officially. However, that does not prevent him from having the right to his first unboxing video. The YouTuber The Mobile Central has indeed got its hands on a model ahead of the announcement and made a little video of it.
This is the 41 mm version which is presented here with its 1.2 inch screen, in bronze version (SM-R850). The Mobile Central unpacks it from its box and shows us the first few minutes with the watch. More interestingly, it compares it with other models on the market, such as the Apple Watch, or the Gear S3 Edition and the Galaxy Watch first of the name.
Difficult to comment on this watch from a video, but the quality seems to be there, especially in terms of the materials used. The design is also thinner than on the previous model. We can also see how the dial is making a comeback for navigation, as well as the operation of the OS, which remains in line with what we already knew. However, no demonstration of gesture recognition, which will make the product special.
Note that The Mobile Central puts the watch on the wrist and the bracelet seems a bit tight. He therefore assumes that this model is primarily intended for a female audience.
Samsung will introduce five products next week.
This is not the first time that the Watch 3 has appeared in a video. Another YouTuber had taken it in hand just yesterday, revealing the product to us a little. The watch will definitely have nothing more to present when it is announced.
Samsung will hold its Unpacked conference on August 5th. This virtual event will be the opportunity for the manufacturer to unveil five new products. The Galaxy Watch 3, of course, but also the Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Fold 2 as well as the Galaxy Note 20, the real star of the conference.
