The collar for smart health connected dogs: Wékiki Review

It is big enough and therefore not recommended for very small dogs. However, it is lightweight. Its attachment, like the case, is not aesthetic, but effective. It has a particularly robust appearance. It is light brown and beige which makes it messy, but very discreet on dogs in these shades suddenly…

The necklace is waterproof, it has a Integrated GPS. Its autonomy is 7 days standby and 12h in tracking mode. The charger is included, it must be smart health connected by usb.

Localization is carried out thanks to a integrated SIM card whose communication is free for one year. The position of the dog is obtained by satellite, it is precise to 10 meters.

Wékiki features

She is aesthetic and very easy to handle whether on PC or smartphone. She is fast, very visual and customizable.

The same functionality is available from both media and is just as accessible.

You can change the color of the pointers, add photos, access the online store or even your invoices with a single click.

However, the geolocation may take a little time whatever the support and in case of failure, the application does not warn of the problem. For example, your devoted editor had forgotten to light the collar earlier, nothing came to her attention when she tried in vain to geolocate her dog.

Finally, when the device battery becomes low or when the virtual barrier is crossed, you receive an SMS on your phone to let you know.

Our feeling

What I liked : The ease of use of the application, clear and instant notifications.

What I did not like : The precision at 10 meters which does not necessarily allow to know if the dog is at health home or walking in the neighbor's garden and the price unchanged whether the tracking lasts 3 or 12 hours.

For 179 euros, the job is done properly. It is ideal for runaway dogs, dogs intended for military professions or even hunting dogs. For owners of a small screened plot, however, this may not be the most relevant necklace to buy. The yummipets necklace turns out to be half the price, but we have not yet been able to Review it in order to make a real comparison which turns out to be essential.
