A recent press release from the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) suggests that tocilizumab, a monoclonal antibody, could be effective in avoiding the use of mechanical respiratory ventilation in the context of Covid-19.

Studies follow one after the other to try to find an effective treatment, understand that reduces mortality in the context of Covid-19. The last serious candidate apparently who has just proven himself is the tolicizumab. Be careful, however, as we do not yet have any raw data. In addition, this drug would only be useful for the severe and critical forms of Covid-19 and not to prevent this from happening.
If that is hope, and if it is said to be good, it will have to be put aside and wait for others clinical tests to confirm the latter. Waiting, limit contacts and stay with us.
