According to the manufacturer, the Runtastic Moment wearable device just presented is "a classic wristwatch that scores with the advantages of a fitness tracker". Depending on the version, between 129.99 and 199.99 euros are due for the gadget.
The Runtastic Moment is – like the competitor Withings Activité Pop – an analog watch that continues to count, for example, calories burned, record steps and distance and monitoring the user's sleep. Since the wearable device works with a normal battery, it does not need to be charged regularly. The moment is waterproof up to 100 meters and, according to the press release, can also be worn while swimming. The Runtastic Moment connects to iOS, Android and Windows mobile phones via an appropriate app, where the recorded data can be viewed. The manufacturer has so far not published any information on the technical data of the device.

The potential buyer has the choice between different versions of the fitness watch. The Moment Fun was “designed for playful, active types” and is available in the colors Raspberry, Plum, Sand and Indigo for 129 euros. The Moment Basic has a larger display and also costs 129 euros. They are available in beige and black. The Moment Elite and the Moment Classic both cost 199 euros and come with a high-quality leather strap, stainless steel case and scratch-resistant glass. The two higher-priced watches seem to differ slightly in design and case color: The Moment Classic is available in silver, gold and rose, the Moment Elite only in black.
The Runtastic Moment is already available in the company's online shop and will soon open in selected specialist shops.
