Hive smart health connected radiator valves allow individual room heating control via your phone.
These Hive smart health connected radiator valves were the missing part of the health home automation system offered by Hive. This will allow it to compete with similar systems from Tado or Honeywell.
These Hive thermostatic radiator valves (TRV) will allow you to exchange the head of the manual TRV (or disconnected) of your radiator and to connect it to the Hive system.
This will allow you to set precise temperatures in each room, so you don't have to heat a room you're not using or choose lower or higher temperatures in different rooms, depending on your preferences.
You can link the Hive radiator valves to the Hive active heating system or operate them independently, smart health connected to the Hive concentrator to allow you to control your smartphone.
The advantage of adding them to an active Hive heating system, however, is a more integrated heating system in which you can, for example, mount a radiator in a single room without heating the other rooms in the house; ideal if you have a health home office, for example.
In many cases, you can install these Hive smart health connected radiator valves yourself by following the instructions in the application. Often you will only need to unscrew an existing VTR and put the Hive unit in its place. Those with older systems may need to consult a plumber.
Hive radiator valves will be available in packages of one, three or five at prices ranging from 60 to 230 euros.
