The latest Philips hue kit that has just been presented offers something that can be very convenient for users: a switch!
This Philips hue kit therefore includes a switch and I should even say a remote control. We already had some information about this product during regulatory tests at the FCC. We also had information about the bulb that came with it, namely an 800 lumen bulb. But it’s clearly the Hue Dimmer that’s the most interesting.
The Hue Dimmer offers four buttons to adjust its Hue bulbs remotely. It can also be fixed to the wall to get closer to the classic use of a switch. According to the documentation of the FCC, it measures 35 x 92 x 11 mm and weighs 67g. Obviously, this remote control is not the first offered by the brand. We obviously remember the Hue Tap.
The difference with the Hue Tap? The price that will be lower and the fact that it uses a more traditional small round battery. The goal is no doubt to persuade Hue users to have this Hue Dimmer in every room of the house. This new kit will arrive in North America in September and will cost $ 40. So it will be quite cheap.
