Ingredients
For
the chicken:
900 g chicken
2
large onions, peeled and quartered
2
carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped
2
stalks celery, washed and finely chopped
1
leek, washed and finely chopped, 2 bay leaves, 3.51 cold water
2
cloves garlic, unpeeled and lightly crushed
1
tsp. tablespoon peppercorns, stems of a bouquet of parsley
2-3
slices of fresh ginger, peeled
For
the soup:
1
handful of Chinese cabbage leaves or spinach, cut into strips
1
small carrot, peeled and cut into thin strips

wonton, soy sauce, broth 300 ml

small white onions, peeled and thinly sliced diagonally

bouquet of parsley, to garnish
Preparation Chinese food wonton soup
Arrange
the chicken cut into 6-8 pieces in a large pot of water with the ingredients of
chicken. Bring to a boil and remove several times the foam that forms on the
surface. Lower the heat and simmer gently 2 to 3 hours, removing the foam from
time to time.
Pass
the soup through a fine strainer, possibly lined with cheesecloth placed in a
large container. Let cool, then refrigerate 5-6 hours or overnight. Degrease
the broth first with a skimmer and then with a sheet of absorbent paper
slightly past the liquid surface.
Boil
a pan of water. Add the wonton and heat to just below boiling point. Simmer 2-3
minutes, stirring often. When the wonton is cooked, rinse with cold water,
drain and set aside.
Bring
quickly to a boil, remove the foam from the surface if necessary. Let the
liquid cook 6-7 minutes at a rolling boil to reduce it slightly. Turn the heat.
When the broth shuddered ajourez wonton and raw vegetables.
Season
with a few drops of soy sauce, gently cook for 3 minutes. Add the parsley and
serve immediately.

Honey Cake Preparation
Sift
the dry ingredients together. Beat eggs with salt. Add sugar & oil
together. Beat well. Add honey. Mix well. Add coffee & whiskey. alternately
with dry ingredients. Until all are incorporated. Add walnuts if desired,
leaving a few to decorate the top of the cake. Pour into a greased, (brown
paper bag works fine) paper lined Baking Pan (Lasagna sized). Bake at 350
degrees for 1 hour or more , until cake tests done when a toothpick inserted in
the center comes out clean.

Cookies Preparation
Drop
from teaspoon. Note: Combine ingredients. THEN drop by teaspoonfuls onto
greased cookie sheets. Bake in 375 F.
oven till done.
