Firmware of a prepared fitness bracelet Mi Smart Band 6 was discovered in the Zepp application.
The successor to Amazfit revealed compared to the current Band 5 several key improvements. Two versions will be available. The first will be for the Chinese market (XMSH16HM, with NFC) and the other for the global market (XMSH15HM, reportedly without NFC). The new bracelet will include a built-in GPS receiver, which will provide accurate data on the current speed and distance traveled during the exercise. The equipment should also lack a sensor for measuring SpO2. Band 6 will be supplemented by 19 new exercise modes.

Pomodor’s technique will also help with concentration, a method that uses a timer to alert the user to take a break. It will also be a novelty the ability to display sleep information directly on the bracelet. Until now, this was only possible in the application. This enhancement may indicate a larger, higher resolution display.
The Mi Smart Band 6 will also be able to control smart health home devices that use the Mi health home platform. However, it is not clear whether this will depend on the region (probably yes).
It looks like the new bracelet can display emoji and will be equipped with the ability to reject calls with an automatic answer. The current version of the Mi Smart Band 5 was launched in mid-July last year, so there are still a few months left until the introduction of the new generation.
