How to cancel your CuriosityStream subscription

CuriosityStream is a streaming service with content focused on scientific topics. To some, this may not be worth the hefty subscription fee, and canceling the service can seem a little intimidating. Here’s how to cancel your CuriosityStream subscription.

After opening the CuriosityStream website in your browser of choice and logging into your account, select your profile in the upper right corner.

Once the drop-down menu is complete, click on the “My account” option.

This will take you to the screen that provides your account information. Under the box labeled “Plan Details”, select the “Cancel Plan” link.

A box will appear with six different options for your cancellation reason. Go ahead and select the one that best represents the reason you are canceling your CuriosityStream subscription.

Once you have selected the reason, fill in the reason information and click on the “Cancel plan” button.

Another pop-up will give you a cancellation confirmation number and tell you the date your membership will end. Click the “OK” button to complete the cancellation.

Although your subscription has been canceled, you will still enjoy the service. Depending on the CuriosityStream plan you selected when signing up for the service, you may get another month or year of service. You will not be launched until the end of the service until the end of your current billing period.
